So, here's the glory moment! Bavuma has been presented the trophy and he poses for photographs with his teammates. It's South Africa's first ODI series win in England since 1998. Today completely belonged to England though as they showcased how their batters can flourish on a good batting track. Bethell was terrific with his ball-striking against both pace and spin. When Archer is in rhythm, he is quite unstoppable and today was another prime example of that. A lot of positives for South Africa in this series. Breetzke has had a dream start to his ODI career while Maharaj was at his probing best. Brevis is also a really good prospect for them. The action will now shift to the T20Is as the first match of the 3-match series will take place in Cardiff in a couple of day's time. That brings us to an end to our coverage. This is Abhinav Guha signing off on behalf of Pradeep Krishnamurthy and Praveen. Until next time, goodbye and cheers!
Temba Bavuma: (On his calf injury) I guess I will know when I get back to South Africa, its a bit sore now. It was a poor showing from us today, looking at how we finished the series against Australia, we wanted to avoid a similar kind of situation, so there will be discussions back in the dressing room. We dropped some chances, fielding is something which we take pride on as a team. We conceded 20 or so extras and bowled a lot of wides, so that wasn't good. It could be complacency and we need to watch out for that. Chasing 400-plus there's no real formula behind it, in hindsight they also put us under pressure, Jofra Archer was brilliant with the ball. (On the series as a whole) Lots of positives, coming to England with a fairly inexperienced side, it wasn't an easy feat, we don't want today's defeat to diminish that. Breetzke and Stubby were pretty good.
Harry Brook: Ultimate performance, we were awesome with the bat and the bowling speaks for itself. If we get a good wicket like that, there's no reason why we can't get 400-450, we have got really good batters in the top seven. (On Bethell) He is good against spin, especially against left-arm spin so that helped us hold their main bowler back longer. They have been doing it for many years, Rooty is phenomenal and Jos can take teams apart. We are a team who want to keep moving forward.
Keshav Maharaj | Player of the Series: I feel like that all the hard work is coming to fruition, I'm grateful to contribute to the team's performances. The three venues posed three different conditions, today was a bit difficult. I used the different angles on the crease and kept on varying my pace. We have got experience and have good variations, we need to improve at the backend. Winning the series in England after a long time is a special feeling. If you give England half a chance, they take their opportunities. Winning 2-1 against England in their own conditions is a good achievement.
Jofra Archer | Player of the Match: Even before I bowled a ball, I knew it was going to be difficult, we scored more than 300. I didn't try to do anything different, just tried to hit the pitch hard and keep it straight. Even if you have a bad day, you have to go out and do it. In the past, there was workload management, I played three games in a row and that means a lot.
Joe Root | Player of the Summer: It was good, the key was to get a couple of partnerships on that kind of surface. The guys that came in at the backend also batted well. (On Bethell) He knew exactly what he was doing, he is wise beyond his years, I have known him since a long time since he was 8 years old. Hopefully, he can go from strength to strength and play more match-winning innings for England. It's just important to find ways to improve different areas of your game, the more you play, the better you get. You also need your experience, partnerships are massive in ODI cricket. I have always kept on working on myself, tinkering here and there, today was fun and there was glimpses of what this side is capable of.

17:26 Local Time, 16:26 GMT, 21:56 IST: England have signed off with a thumping victory, closing out the series on a good note. South Africa were brilliant in the first two matches and that helped them seal the series, but the hosts were superlative in all aspects today. The English batters flourished as Smith struck a fifty at the top while Root and Bethell struck terrific centuries to dominate the middle overs. Buttler’s 27-ball fifty at the fag end propelled the hosts to a mammoth 414. In response, the Proteas were hit by a storm in the form of Archer. He ran in with intent, bowled with good pace and bounce and rattled the opposition. His 4-fer broke the backbone of the visitors within the first powerplay. Carse also gave him good support and took a couple of wickets. The writing was on the wall for the Proteas. Bosch resisted for a while but that was only delaying the inevitable. Rashid took three wickets to close out the game. Only three of the South African batters getting into double-digits tells you how dominant England were with the ball. Bavuma didn't come out to bat today as he had a calf strain and there was no point in risking the South African skipper as there was a risk of aggravating his injury. Stick around for the presentations...
